The mechanism of grievance redressal system: The institute
has three grievance redressal mechanisms in place namely
i. Student grievance Redressal committee
ii. Faculty/Staff Redressal committee
iii. Anti-Sexual Harassment committee
Student Grievance Redressal system:
In each department HOD and Faculty / staff are organized at
the beginning of every semester to discuss about anti ragging and faculty
members are selected for the institution level Anti-Ragging committee. The head
of the department addresses the students of all semesters including fresh
admitted students to create awareness about anti ragging. The issues of
students related to ragging on campus and in hostels are addressed through anti
ragging committee. In addition to this wardens also take appropriate measures
to restrain ragging in hostels. Students can raise their grievance regarding
any issue online in Grievance Redressal menu on college website. Institute has
online grievance redressal system. Student can file online grievance on this
system. The system can be used by login-in through personal id created by
department. Each student can login to their profile through
http://www.gecdahod.ac.in/login-form-stu.php Student can file a grievance by
writing subject matter. The same is reflected immediately to grievance
redressal committee.
