M1: To impart value based fundamental education of electrical engineering.
M2: To provide learning environment for innovations and entrepreneurship through curricular and co-curricular programs.
M3: To create self-motivated, ethical, environment friendly, and responsible citizen for the betterment of the society and nation at large.
The building of this program is located in the Engineering Block -3 building of the campus. It is two stored building. It includes 08 classrooms, 10 laboratories, staff rooms and Tutorial room of this program. Here, staff room of faculty for Humanities and applied science is also situated at first floor. In the year 2004, this department has been started with the intake of 60 students. Thereafter ,Currently the intake capacity of the program is 30 students. This department aims to provide quality education in the field of electrical engineering through teaching learning process. Moreover, in order to increase the effectiveness of this teaching learning process different audio-visual aids, overhead projector, Computers, and BISAG router are provided. Moreover, power-point presentation, minor/major projects, seminars, Workshops, technical visit, expert lecture are arranged to improve quality of teaching learning. This department has highly qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic faculty members.
This department is equipped with enriched laboratories in different fields of power system such as basic electrical engineering, power electronics, electrical power, control system, circuit and network, Microprocessor, electrical machine laboratory, basic electronics, and power system protection, Simulation Laboratory. Basic electronics & power electronics laboratories with advance practical kits and instruments to learn the basic and power electronics. Moreover, AC / DC machine lab contains with good experimental setups. To teach students the working, measuring controlling and testing of various AC / DC machines. Control and circuit lab has some advanced kits to update the students about recent trades and make them aware about various theorems. In micro-controller and microprocessor laboratory, kits are available which motivates the students to developed and understand the program coding using machine language.
